MoneyPrinterTurbo is an MIT-licensed Python workflow for turning a topic or script into a short video, aimed at creators who want one inspectable pipeline instead of a stack of separate tools. An LLM writes the script and stock-footage search terms; the project workflow retrieves clips, generates narration, aligns subtitles, adds music and transitions, and renders an MP4 with FFmpeg. It offers a Streamlit interface, FastAPI service, CLI, Docker image, and an agent skill, with cloud and local speech options including Edge TTS, ElevenLabs, Gemini TTS, Chatterbox, and faster-whisper. GPU use is optional. Version 1.3.3, released July 24, added voiceover previews, music inputs, clip-speed control, interrupted-task recovery, and an optional publishing queue for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
For a solo creator, that turns asset search, timing, captions, and rendering into a repeatable run. It sits between hosted editors such as CapCut and Descript, which offer polished timelines and managed services, and hand-built FFmpeg scripts, which offer control but leave every integration to the operator. The project can stop at a local MP4, so publishing is not required for the core workflow. Its limits are equally practical: output quality depends on the language model and footage search, provider terms and API keys still apply, and every clip, voice, track, and upload needs its own rights and consent check.
One prompt can remove repetitive production work, but it cannot supply editorial judgment. The useful test is correction time and rights provenance, not whether the renderer produced a file.
